Digital Products / Software Quality Review
Software Quality Review
Functional and technical testing of your app, website or system in your test environment, using access you agree to give, before it goes live or before a new feature is released.
Your own team knows the software too well to see its problems. We come in from outside with AI-assisted testing, reviewed by our team: we use it as a real customer or user would and write down everything that gets in the way.

Who it’s for
Teams before a launch, demo or pilot; software teams before each new release; businesses checking a system a developer has built for them, before they sign it off.
What we test
Functional testing
Every main task works from start to finish, as described.
Technical checks
Error handling, file uploads, data saved correctly, broken pages and behaviour when something unexpected is entered.
Usability
Where users get stuck, confused or lost.
New features and releases
The new part works, and nothing that worked before has broken.
Acceptance testing support
Before you sign off a system built for you, we test it against what was agreed.
Devices and browsers
It works on phones, tablets and the main browsers.
Dashboards and reports
The numbers on screen match the underlying data.
AI features
We check that answers are accurate and sensible for your use, and that there is a safe fallback when they are wrong.
Accessibility (basic)
Basic accessibility checks based on WCAG 2.2, such as colour contrast, link and button names, and text descriptions for images. Keyboard checks can be included in the agreed test scope.
What you get
- A plain-language report with each problem graded by urgency (fix now, fix soon, nice to have).
- A one-page checklist to re-test the fixes.
- A re-test after your team has applied the fixes, available as an option.
What we need from you
A test or QA environment (a copy of your system set up for testing), test logins, and a short description of what the system should do.
Someone on your team who knows how the software is meant to work, to answer our questions.
Please use test data, not real customer records.
What it is not
We don’t test your live system, we don’t need your code, and we don’t change anything. It is not a security penetration test, and it does not certify your software.
The fee depends on the size of the work and is confirmed in writing before we start.
The image shows the report layout. We don’t publish a full sample, as each review is specific to your software.
